What is the warranty on this model?
The Table-Top humidifier includes a 2-year warranty on control, motor, and cabinet issues, a 1-year warranty on factory-installed parts/components, and a 30-day warranty on wicks.
Does this unit require a filter?
Yes, this humidifier does require a filter. Your first one is included in your initial purchase! This unit utilizes the AIRCARE SGL Super Wick® 1040 filter or the 1040 Super Wick® 2-Pack.
What is the noise level while the Table-Top is operating?
The decibels for the humidifier are 45 db on low (comparable to a refrigerator hum) and 71.5 db on high (comparable to a dishwasher).
What does the “CF” symbol mean and how do I get rid of it?
CF stands for “check filter”! If the filter is still absorbing the water all the way to the top, the filter is good. If it is dry in places, it needs to be replaced. To clear the CF symbol, unplug the unit for a few seconds. When the unit is plugged back in, the CF will be gone.
What is the maximum run time?
This model has a maximum run time of 70 hours per fill.
Does it turn off automatically after reaching a certain humidity level or when empty?
If the unit is set at under 65% it will turn off when it reaches the set point, and then turn back on when it falls below the set point. If the humidifier is set at 65% it will run continuously and not shut off.
