Did you know that an estimated 45% of adults occasionally snore and 25% of adults regularly snore? This not only causes sleep disturbances but can be a huge headache for family members who must wear earplugs on a nightly basis!

Snoring can be caused by weight gain, obstructed airways, or other medical conditions. However, a humidifier may be a great way to provide relief and limit the frequency of snoring fits!

Your throat and nasal passages can easily become prone to dryness, leading to wheezing and vibrating while breathing. A humidifier moisturizes and soothes these passages, allowing for a more comfortable sleep.

Humidifiers typically come in two varieties – warm and cool mist. However, if you’d like to try both types of mist, consider our DUET ultrasonic humidifier! Regardless of the temperature or your preference, it can be an effective way to mitigate the severity of snoring episodes.

It’s important to keep in mind that regular cleaning is crucial when owning a humidifier! Bacteria and mold can collect in the device if it's left unattended for long periods of time. Luckily, we have plenty of guides to walk you through cleaningand descaling your unit, so you can show your humidifier some love!

Lastly, since snoring may be caused by other medical conditions, such as sleep apnea, there is a possibility that a humidifier might not directly solve the issue. As always, we recommend consulting a medical professional to discuss your sleep habits and snoring patterns.
