Best Air Humidifiers: Our Top-Rated Humidifiers for 2020

Online searches for humidifiers are soaring right now. As winter brings in dry air, congestion, and virus bugs, online shoppers want to know what is the best humidifier they can buy to fight these common winter foes.

With that in mind, we wanted to see what reviewers were saying about our humidifiers. We ran some searches and found that our units made many top-rated humidifier lists for 2020. If you’re looking for a humidifier, here’s a list of the AIRCARE models reviewers – and customers – love.


PEDESTAL | The website for Health magazine, rated our Pedestal model their top pick for whole-house humidifier in their Best Humidifiers list. And it’s no wonder - the Pedestal is a customer favorite because it functions as a table. The Pedestal covers up to 2,400 square feet, and the top tile can be replaced with any 12x12 tile you like. The Pedestal comes in two colors: nutmeg and espresso.

CONSOLE | Prevention magazine’s website, Prevention.com, also favored AIRCARE for whole-house humidity. They picked the Console as their favorite whole-house humidifier in their 12 Best Humidifiers list. Customers have loved this model for many years, and it carries a 4.3 rating on Amazon. Next year’s model will include a demineralization cartridge to help break down minerals found in hard water.

AURORA | The Spruce picked two AIRCARE models for their 10 Best Humidifiers of 2020 list. They liked the AURORA for its demineralization cartridge, color-changing LED light, and diffuser tray for essential oils. The AURORA is an ultrasonic, cool mist humidifier, so it doesn’t use a filter. It does include a demineralization cartridge, which is great for homes with hard water.

VALIANT | The Spruce also loved the Valiant for its powerful output (over 12 gallons per day), large coverage area, and three fan speeds. The Valiant holds five gallons of water and runs up to 55 hours per fill, so if you don’t like frequent refills, the Valiant is the whole-house humidifier for you. It comes in two finishes: brushed nickel (model HD1409) and honey oak (model EA1407).
